Best Online Casinos in Ghana (2026): Real Money Sites Tested

The best online casinos in Ghana are the ones that actually pay you, so we test them ourselves. We open real accounts, deposit, play and take each test as far toward a withdrawal as it will go on a mid-range Android phone over mobile data, then publish what happened whatever it was. This page has an entry rule too: a casino is listed only when it displays a gambling licence we separately confirmed, and the brands we tested that could not clear that bar stay reviewed on the site but off this list. Across the six licensed casinos below we hold two payouts documented from request to arrival and four we could not measure, and every card says which. Each site accepts Ghanaian players and supports either local Mobile Money in cedis (GHS) or crypto, and each is scored on the same seven categories with the weights printed on its review so you can check the arithmetic.

1xBet is one of two casinos on this page licensed in Ghana for online casino. It appears on the Gaming Commission of Ghana’s 2026 register in both the online casino and sports betting categories, and it displays its casino licence number, GCCA26S1100P, alongside a separate sports betting licence, under CLICKWELL GHANA LIMITED. Those are two separate checks and both passed, which matters more than it sounds: the Commission’s live register lists operator names only and publishes no licence numbers at all, so a number is only worth anything when the operator prints it and the name is on the register. It means a regulator inside the country if a dispute arises. Ghanaian players sign up in minutes, deposit in cedis with Mobile Money (MTN, Telecel, AirtelTigo), cards or crypto, and can claim a casino welcome package worth up to GHS 25,500 plus 150 free spins (x35 wagering). Its payout is documented end to end, and with the fullest record we hold anywhere: 16.80 GHS requested at 18:34 and marked complete at 18:44, with a reference number. Another casino below paid us faster; none has a record this complete. Against that, the site fails Google Core Web Vitals and the Android app installs by APK rather than from the Play Store.

Up to 500% rakeback

BC.Game launched bcgame.com.gh in July 2026 and is the second casino on this page licensed in Ghana for online casino: it appears on the Gaming Commission of Ghana’s 2026 register in both the online casino and sports betting categories, and its footer names Quantis Point Limited Company with casino licence GCCA26F3124X beside the Commission’s seals. The operator prints the number, the register carries the name, and we checked both separately – the same two-step we apply to 1xBet. Our mobile money deposits in cedis credited in about a minute through MTN, Telecel and AirtelTigo (1 to 10,000 GHS per transaction), KYC with a government ID happens before the first deposit rather than at cashout, live chat answered inside two minutes, and the lobby held 4,500+ games from 65+ providers when we counted it from Ghana, with Aviator and the provably fair BC Originals up front. Two things keep it at #2. We have not yet completed a withdrawal here, so no payout request has been placed, no payout time is published, and that category is excluded from its score rather than guessed. And the headline offer, up to 500% across four deposits, is credited locked and unlocks at roughly 1 GHS per 500 GHS wagered – a loyalty drip rather than a bonus you can clear, which is why the card says rakeback. Apps for iOS and Android install from the official site, not the stores.

Payments are Melbet’s strongest category: MTN, Telecel and AirtelTigo in cedis from GHS 10, e-wallets from GHS 6, plus cards and commission-free crypto, and the same rails work in both directions. Its licensing position needs stating precisely, because it holds two things that are easy to confuse. Melbet appears on the Gaming Commission of Ghana’s 2026 register under sports betting, but not in the online casino category, so the casino you would actually be playing here runs on its offshore licence: OGL/2024/561/0554 through Pelican Entertainment B.V., issued by the Curacao Gaming Control Board and displayed openly in the footer. It has been trading since 2015, but a Ghanaian player with a casino dispute is dealing with Curacao rather than Accra. The casino package runs up to GHS 23,500 plus 290 free spins (x40), and the sports offer carries a low x8. Two honest caveats: we submitted a crypto withdrawal and never saw what became of it, so we publish no payout time and no claim that the money landed, and Google’s own field data records an 11-second load on mobile.

PariPesa paid faster than anything else we have tested: we asked for 574 GHS on paripesa.top and had it about seven minutes later, with no fee, no last-minute document and no support ticket. What we hold on it is the amount and the elapsed time rather than the request time, completion time and reference number our top pick carries, which is why its payout scores just below 1xBet’s despite being quicker. Its licence is offshore and it is there to read: the footer displays Curacao licence OGL/2024/225/0601 under Optim Development B.V., and we found that number on that regulator’s own register under the same company, though the entry’s expiry date of 16 January 2026 has passed while its status reads “Assessment in progress” rather than “Expired”. What it does not have is a Ghanaian one. The brand told us in writing that it holds a local licence, and the Commission’s register does not list it in any category, which is the single reason its licensing score sits at 3.0 rather than higher. Day to day it is easy to use: cedi accounts take MTN, Telecel and AirtelTigo from 5 GHS, the casino package runs up to GHS 25,000 plus 150 free spins (x35 on the bonus, seven days, 85 GHS maximum bet while wagering), the provider directory lists at least 158 studios, RTP is shown inside each game, and live chat put a human in front of us in about a minute. Against that: no Google Play listing so Android installs as an APK, an iOS app that needs an App Store region change, and deposit and loss limits you can only set through support. The brand’s other domain, paripesa.io, runs under an Anjouan licence held by a different company, so check which site you are on before you register.

Wild.io is used here mostly for Aviator, and the library is the reason: 8,591 games. It runs as Stack Gaming Ltd under Anjouan licence ALSI-202504044-FI2, which we found on that regulator’s own register in September 2026, valid to April 2027 and covering this domain. It does not appear on Ghana’s register in any category, and it holds no cedis, so you fund it by buying USDT with Mobile Money and sending it across. It has a Buy Crypto on-ramp inside the site, which can save a trip to an exchange, though we funded our own test through a peer-to-peer purchase rather than through it. The welcome runs up to 350% plus 200 free spins (code WILD, x40). Our 6 USDT cashout request was accepted with no verification wall and we saw it clear shortly afterwards, but we never captured a timestamped confirmation, so no payout time is published. Two things sit against it and both are real. The licence is the lightest instrument in this market: the 2024 GIABA evaluation of the Comoros, published by the FATF, records that gambling is prohibited under that country’s penal code at union level, so the permission has no regulated sector behind it. And Wild.io’s own site cannot settle who operates it – a help page names a different company under a different regulator entirely – while the brand carries a documented record of freezing accounts and voiding winnings after big wins or bonus play.

Cybet launched in 2024 and is operated by Eskimo Adventures Ltd of Belize under Anjouan licence ALSI-202409034-FI2, which it displays openly in its footer alongside the company behind it – which not every brand on this page manages, and which is why it scores above the other Anjouan brand here on licensing. One thing to know before you deposit, and we publish it because we found it. We searched that number on the Anjouan register in September 2026. The entry is there, in Cybet’s own company name and against its own domain, and the status field reads valid – but the expiry date printed beside it had already passed eleven days earlier. That register’s own notes say its data is updated periodically and that anyone needing time-sensitive confirmation should contact the authority, so a lagging status field is the likeliest explanation. We cannot tell you that from the register, and neither can you. The licence itself is the lightest instrument in this market in any case: the 2024 GIABA evaluation of the Comoros, published by the FATF, records that gambling is prohibited under that country’s penal code at union level, so displaying the permission openly is a point about honesty rather than about protection. It appears nowhere on Ghana’s register either. The lobby is genuinely large: 4,823 slots from 58+ studios, 196 live dealer tables, plus its own Crash, Dice and Limbo originals, and live chat put a named human agent in front of us inside one minute, the fastest support we have recorded. Two more things hold it back. Cybet publishes no wagering requirement, no bonus cap and no expiry anywhere in its welcome terms, so the offer cannot be evaluated before you accept it. And it holds no cedis at all, so there is no Mobile Money route in, and our balance stayed below its 10 USD withdrawal minimum, so no payout request was ever placed and we have not verified that it pays.

Online gambling is now part of everyday life in Ghana, and almost all of that play happens on a phone. At the top of this page you will find the best real-money online casinos in Ghana we rate most highly right now, a list we review and reorder whenever our own test results change. Below, you will find everything you need to choose safely for yourself – what the law says, which casinos are actually on Ghana’s licence register, how Mobile Money and crypto payments work, which casinos take Bitcoin, which casino games are worth your time, and how to read a bonus before you claim it. If you bet on sport as well as playing casino games, we rank those separately in our guide to the best betting sites in Ghana.

How we test and rank the best online casinos in Ghana

We don’t rank casinos off their bonus banners – anyone can promise a big number. Our testers open a real account on each site, fund it, play, and take the test as far toward a withdrawal as it will go, all on the kind of mid-range Android phone and mobile data a typical player in Accra or Kumasi actually uses. Every casino is then scored on the same seven categories, with local payment access weighted most heavily, then licensing and payout, and the weight of each category printed on the review so you can check the total yourself.

There is also an entry rule for this page, and it is worth stating plainly because it decides what you are looking at. A casino is listed here only when it displays a gambling licence on its own site that we were then able to confirm independently. Displayed and confirmed, both parts: a licence you cannot see before you deposit is no use to you, and a number nobody can verify is worth even less. Three casinos we have tested do not clear that bar and are not ranked here, though their reviews stay published in full. MostBet holds a real Curacao licence that we verified on that regulator’s own public register, but shows no number, no seal and no operating company anywhere on its site – and it is also the one casino whose withdrawal we could not get released, behind a verification wall we were never warned about, which is precisely why the review stays up. Cryptorino displays a company registration number where a gambling licence should be and holds no gambling licence from any jurisdiction. And for Reels.io we have not been able to confirm a licence at all, which we state as the open question it is rather than as a finding either way. Delisting a brand is not the same as hiding what we found about it.

The part we are strictest about is the payout, because it is the part most often faked, and the results split five ways rather than into pass and fail. Four of the five appear on this page. Across the six casinos here we hold two payouts documented from request to arrival, one of them paid in about ten minutes and the other in about seven. At one the request was submitted and we never saw what became of it. At another it was visibly accepted, with no verification wall and no held balance, but we never captured a timestamped confirmation. At the remaining two no request has been placed at all: at one our balance sat under the operator’s own minimum, and at the newest our testing has not reached a withdrawal yet. The fifth outcome, a payout blocked outright at a verification wall, belongs to a brand that is no longer on this list, and its review says so. Each card above states which applies, and where we did not measure a payout we leave that category unscored rather than filling it with a guess. The full process is on our review methodology page, and the brand-by-brand detail is in each full review.

Real money casinos in Ghana: what actually changes

Playing at a real money casino in Ghana is different from free play in three ways that matter, and all three are things we test rather than assume.

The first is verification. Free play needs nothing; a real money casino will ask for identity documents before it releases your first withdrawal, and the sites that leave that check until cashout are the ones where payouts stall. One casino we tested blocked our own withdrawal at exactly that point, with no warning given at deposit time, and it is one of the brands that did not make this list. The opposite approach is on the list: the newest casino here asks for a government ID before it will accept your first deposit, which feels slower on day one and is the version you want, because the check that stalls payouts has already happened. Either way, complete verification early – our guide to casino account verification in Ghana covers which documents are asked for and how long each stage takes.

The second is the funding rail. Real money casinos in Ghana split into two groups: those that hold cedis and accept MTN, Telecel or AirtelTigo Mobile Money directly, and those that hold no cedis at all and require crypto. For most Ghanaian real money players the first group is simply more usable, which is why our top four picks sit there and why local payment access is the factor we weight most heavily.

The third is recourse. If a free game misbehaves you lose nothing. If a real money casino declines to pay, your options depend entirely on who licensed it. A Gaming Commission of Ghana licence gives you a regulator in the country. An Anjouan licence gives you very little, and the reason is specific rather than rhetorical: the 2024 GIABA mutual evaluation of the Comoros, published by the FATF, records that gambling is prohibited under that country’s penal code at union level, so there is no national regulated sector behind the permission at all. That single difference is worth more than any bonus percentage on this page.

Is online casino gambling legal in Ghana?

Yes – and it helps to know the framework. Online gambling in Ghana is regulated under the Gaming Act, 2006 (Act 721), with the Gaming Commission of Ghana (GCG) as the licensing authority for casinos. A licensed operator can run both land-based and online platforms under the same regime, and the legal minimum age to play is 18. The law doesn’t stop you from playing on reputable internationally licensed sites (for example, those holding a Curacao or Anjouan licence), but the safest rule of thumb is simple: confirm a casino is properly licensed and pays in cedis or crypto before you deposit a single pesewa. For the sections of the Act that apply, the licence categories the Commission issues and how to check an operator against the register yourself, read our full guide to whether online gambling is legal in Ghana.

There has also been a shift firmly in players’ favour. In April 2025, Ghana scrapped the 10% withholding tax that had been deducted from gambling winnings since 2023 – so on a licensed platform, what you win is what you keep. Operators still pay tax on their gross gaming revenue, but that is the casino’s cost, not yours.

Ghanaian casino sites and international brands

Not every casino accepting players here is a Ghanaian casino site in any meaningful sense, and the difference is worth understanding before you deposit.

A genuinely local operator holds a Gaming Commission of Ghana licence, registers a Ghanaian company, prices in cedis and supports Mobile Money end to end. On this page that describes two brands for casino play: 1xBet, which trades as CLICKWELL GHANA LIMITED, and BC.Game, which trades as Quantis Point Limited Company and launched its Ghanaian site in July 2026. Both appear on the Commission’s 2026 register in the online casino and sports betting categories. The advantage is not patriotic, it is practical: a local licence means a regulator inside the country that a Ghanaian player can actually contact.

Two more familiar names sit on the 2026 register without appearing in the ranking above, for the simple reason that we have not tested them yet: Betway Ghana, listed in both the online casino and sports betting categories, and 22Bet Ghana, listed for sports betting only. Neither has been through a hands-on test here, so neither is ranked, but we have compared what each publishes about itself side by side in 22Bet Ghana against Betway Ghana.

There is a trap in that sentence worth spelling out, because it catches people. The Commission licenses by activity, not by brand. A sports betting licence is not permission to run an online casino, and a well-known name can hold one without the other. Melbet is the example on this page: it is on the 2026 register under sports betting, but it does not appear in the online casino category, so the casino you would be playing there runs on its Curacao licence rather than a Ghanaian one. Seeing a familiar brand on the register tells you nothing until you check which category it is listed in. The mirror-image trap is a brand that simply tells you it holds a Ghanaian licence: one we tested did exactly that, supplied no number when we asked, and does not appear on the register in any category.

Here is the part almost nobody publishes, and it changes how you should read every Ghana casino list including this one. The Commission’s live 2026 register lists operator names by category and nothing else – no licence numbers, no legal company names, no addresses. So when another site quotes you a specific Gaming Commission licence number, it did not read that number off the register, because the register does not contain one. Where we print a number, such as 1xBet’s casino licence GCCA26S1100P, it is because the operator displays it on its own site and we separately confirmed that operator’s name on the register. Two different checks, and we keep them apart, because collapsing them is how a plausible-looking number ends up on a page with nothing behind it.

International brands accepting Ghanaian players sit on offshore licences from Curacao, Anjouan or nothing at all, and “offshore” covers a very wide range. A directly issued Curacao licence with a named operating company is a materially stronger instrument than a cheap Anjouan registration, and both are stronger than a casino that displays a company number where a gambling licence should be, or nothing at all. Only the first two of those situations appear on this page, because the entry rule above removed the other two from the ranking, and each card says which applies. What none of them gives you is a local body to escalate to, which is precisely why we weight licence strength above bonus size in every ranking on this site.

Our practical guidance for choosing among Ghanaian casino sites: if two casinos are close on everything else, take the one licensed here for the game you actually want to play. If you are choosing an offshore brand anyway, keep balances small and withdraw often rather than letting a large balance sit on a licence that cannot protect it.

Mobile Money and crypto payments for casinos in Ghana

For most Ghanaian players, Mobile Money isn’t one option among several – it is the option, so it is the first thing we test on every casino and the factor we weight most heavily. Three services do the heavy lifting:

  • MTN Mobile Money (MoMo) – the largest network and the one we prioritise; accepted on almost every Ghana-facing casino.
  • Telecel Cash (formerly Vodafone Cash) – the second most common option, supported by most major platforms.
  • AirtelTigo Money – available on a growing number of sites, and the one to look for if that is your main SIM.

Visa and Mastercard round out the fiat options, while crypto-first casinos run entirely on cryptocurrency – USDT, Bitcoin, Litecoin and Solana – where each payout is recorded on a public blockchain and is independently verifiable. One thing to watch: a few casinos let you deposit by Mobile Money but only pay withdrawals to a bank account, which can add days to your payout. We check that money moves both ways on the same rail before a site makes our list. For the deposit and withdrawal limits, the fees each network charges and the provider-by-provider timings we measured, see our full guide to MTN MoMo casinos in Ghana.

Bitcoin and crypto casinos in Ghana

A Bitcoin casino in Ghana usually means one of two quite different things, and the distinction decides how much work it is to play there. Some casinos accept Bitcoin alongside cedis, so crypto is one option among several. Others are crypto only: they hold no cedis at all, so Bitcoin or USDT is the only way in and the only way out. There is a third case on this page worth naming, because it is our second-ranked casino: a site that holds cedis and takes Mobile Money but no crypto at all, which is the mirror image of the crypto-only sites and just as much of a constraint if crypto is how you want to play.

TypeWhat it means in GhanaOn this page
Bitcoin plus cedisDeposit with MTN, Telecel or AirtelTigo, or with crypto, whichever suits. No exchange account needed.Three of the six, including our top pick
Crypto onlyNo Mobile Money and no cedi balance. You buy Bitcoin or USDT first, send it across, and reverse the chain to spend anything you win.Two of the six
Cedis, no cryptoMobile Money in and out in cedis, with no crypto route at any stage. Simplest to use here, and no help at all if you hold coins. One of the six, our second-ranked pick

Which is right for you. If you already hold crypto, the crypto-only sites are perfectly usable and often carry the deepest game libraries. If you do not, the extra steps are a real cost in time, fees and risk, and a casino that takes Mobile Money directly will almost always be the better choice. That is not a small preference: it is why local payment access is the heaviest factor in our scoring, and why the crypto-only brands here sit in the lower half of the table despite scoring well on games and support.

The honest trade-off with a Bitcoin casino is that the payment rail is excellent and the regulation usually is not. On-chain payouts are independently verifiable and no bank sits in the middle, which is a genuine advantage over any mobile-money payout. But crypto-first brands almost always run on the weakest licences available. Neither of the two crypto-only casinos on this page appears on Ghana’s register in any category, and both run on Anjouan licences – an instrument whose own jurisdiction gives it nothing to stand on, since the 2024 GIABA evaluation of the Comoros, published by the FATF, records that gambling is prohibited there under the penal code at union level. One of the two also carries a documented record of freezing accounts after big wins, and on the other the register’s own expiry date had already passed when we checked it. Neither has a payout we have been able to verify, for two different reasons set out on their cards.

If Bitcoin is how you want to play, the practical rules are short. Buy USDT rather than Bitcoin for transfers, since the fees are far lower on the TRON network. Copy the deposit address from inside your own logged-in wallet page, never from a message, because a crypto transfer to a wrong address cannot be reversed by anyone. Treat the balance as temporary: deposit what you intend to stake, withdraw winnings promptly, and do not use a casino wallet as storage. And check the withdrawal minimum before you deposit, not after – the crypto-only sites here set theirs in US dollars, and a balance below that floor cannot leave at all. We walk through the whole chain, from buying coins with Mobile Money to getting them into a casino wallet, in our guide to how crypto casino deposits work in Ghana.

Popular casino games in Ghana: Aviator, live dealer and more

For Ghanaian players, the online casino games that matter come down to a few specific things, and we test for all of them. Aviator and other crash games have become genuinely huge here: you place a bet, watch the multiplier climb, and cash out before it flies away – fast, simple and made for a phone screen, and if you have not played one before, start with our walkthrough of how to play Aviator. For something closer to a real casino floor, live-dealer tables stream a human croupier for blackjack, roulette and baccarat in real time; for the sites that do this best, see our guide to the best live casinos in Ghana. Slots remain the volume game and where most welcome-bonus free spins are spent – for a full comparison of libraries and providers, see our guide to the best slots sites in Ghana. Crypto-first sites add provably-fair Originals, where you can mathematically verify each result, and one of the cedi-taking casinos here carries a set of its own. Every casino we rank carries slots, crash games and live-dealer tables, and we check that the online casino games load smoothly over mobile data, not just on Wi-Fi.

Casino welcome bonuses and wagering explained

A casino welcome bonus usually matches a share of your first deposit – often 100% to 350% – up to a ceiling set in GHS, frequently with free spins on top. But the headline figure is the least useful part. What actually decides whether an offer is worth claiming is the wagering requirement: how many times you must bet the bonus before any winnings can be withdrawn. In Ghana that is typically 30x to 40x, with a time limit of a week or two, though we have seen x60 elsewhere in our testing and at least one operator on this page publishes no figure at all. That last case is the worst of the three: a bonus with no stated multiplier, cap or expiry is one you cannot evaluate before you accept it. Watch for a fourth shape too, because the biggest percentage on this page is one: an offer credited locked and released a little at a time as you wager, which is a loyalty drip rather than a bonus you can clear, however large the headline number looks. And watch for one thing that is not a bonus term at all: some sites attach a playthrough condition to the deposit itself, which gates a withdrawal whether or not you ever claim an offer. In practice, a clean 100-200% offer at 30-40x will usually leave you better off than a flashy 300%+ deal wrapped in fine print and a short clock. Whatever you claim, read the terms first – and for the offers we currently rate most highly, see our guide to the best casino bonuses in Ghana.

How to choose a safe online casino in Ghana

Before depositing anywhere, run through this quick checklist – the same checks we run before any site appears on this page:

  • Is it on the Gaming Commission of Ghana’s register, and if so, in which category – online casino, sports betting, or both?
  • If not, does it hold a reputable international licence (Curacao, Anjouan) rather than none at all?
  • Is the licence number actually displayed on the site, or only claimed? And is an operating company named?
  • Does the licence on the site match the site you are actually on? A panel naming a different domain, or a company that appears nowhere else on the page, is worth more of your attention than any bonus.
  • When you find the entry on the register, read the dates as well as the status. A status word is a summary; an expiry date that has already passed is the substance, and the two do not always agree.
  • Does it accept MTN Mobile Money, Telecel Cash, AirtelTigo Money or crypto for both deposits and withdrawals?
  • Is there a minimum withdrawal, and is it low enough that a small balance can actually leave? Check that figure before the deposit minimum, because it is the one that decides whether your money can come back.
  • Are the bonus terms – wagering, expiry, withdrawal limits – stated clearly rather than buried or omitted?
  • Does it offer responsible-gambling tools: deposit limits, self-exclusion, session reminders?
  • Is there a working English-language support channel that actually replies?

If every answer is yes, the site is worth your time. If any is unclear, keep looking – there is no shortage of alternatives. We take each of these checks apart in more detail, with what a good answer looks like and where operators most often fall short, in our guide to how to choose a safe online casino.

Playing at a mobile casino in Ghana

More than three-quarters of web traffic in Ghana happens on a phone, so we review the way you actually play: on mobile, over data, not on a desktop with fibre. For most players here, the best mobile casino is simply one that loads fast and runs cleanly on a mid-range Android phone. Every online casino in Ghana that we rank runs cleanly in a mobile browser, and the ones that offer something to install arrange it in three quite different ways, which operators all call “the app”. Before any of them, one absence worth knowing rather than glossing over: none of the six publishes on both official stores, and a store listing is far harder for a clone to imitate than a download link. Two ship an Android APK from their own site, which is normal for gambling apps and safe as long as you download from the operator’s own domain, and their iPhone apps appear in some App Store regions but not others, so check the listing in your own storefront. One ships both its Android and its iOS app from its own site, with no store listing on either platform. One ships an Android file from its own site with no Google Play listing at all and an iOS app you can only reach by changing your App Store region, which we would not ask any reader to do. One offers a progressive web app: no file at all, you simply add the site to your home screen from the browser and it opens full screen with its own icon. That accounts for five of the six; the last is browser only. The web app has nothing to side-load, which is a real advantage in a market where fake casino apps spread through download links, but nothing about it has passed Apple’s or Google’s review either – and the same is true of anything installed from an operator’s own site, so the domain you install from is the only check you get. Type it yourself rather than following a link from a message. Where Google publishes real Core Web Vitals data for a site we quote it rather than describing an impression, and one casino on this page fails it badly with an 11-second load.

Frequently asked questions

Is online casino gambling legal in Ghana?

Yes, through operators licensed by the Gaming Commission of Ghana under the Gaming Act 2006 (Act 721). You must be 18 or older to play.

What is the best online casino in Ghana in 2026?

Our current top-rated pick is on the Gaming Commission of Ghana’s 2026 register for online casino, supports MTN, Telecel and AirtelTigo Mobile Money plus crypto, and is one of two casinos on this page whose payout we have documented from request to arrival, in about ten minutes. See the ranked list at the top of this page for our current best online casinos in Ghana.

Which online casinos are licensed in Ghana?

The Gaming Commission of Ghana publishes a live register of licensed operators, split by category. The important detail is that it licenses by activity rather than by brand, so a name on the register for sports betting is not licensed to run an online casino. Of the six casinos we rank, two appear on the 2026 register for online casino, one appears for sports betting only and runs its casino on a Curacao licence, one more runs on a Curacao licence and appears in no Ghanaian category, and the last two hold offshore Anjouan licences and appear in no category either. Every casino on this list displays a gambling licence we were able to confirm independently; brands we tested that could not clear that bar stay reviewed on the site but are not ranked here. One more thing worth knowing before you read anyone’s list: the live register publishes operator names only, with no licence numbers, company names or addresses, so any site quoting you a specific Gaming Commission licence number did not read it off the register.

What are the best real money casinos in Ghana?

We rate the real money casinos highest where the money can actually move both ways in cedis and the licence means something. 1xBet leads on a Gaming Commission of Ghana online casino licence, and its payout is the most completely documented we hold: about ten minutes, with the request time, the completion time and a reference number on record. BC.Game follows on the second Ghanaian online casino licence on this page, with Mobile Money deposits in cedis that credited in about a minute and identity checks completed before the first deposit, though our testing has not yet reached a withdrawal there, so we publish no payout claim for it. Melbet comes next: it takes all three mobile-money networks in cedis alongside cards and crypto, both ways, though its casino runs on a Curacao licence rather than a Ghanaian one and the withdrawal we submitted was never confirmed as landing. PariPesa follows it and produced the quickest payout we have measured anywhere, 574 GHS in about seven minutes, on a Curacao licence we confirmed and with no Ghanaian licence despite the operator telling us it holds one; what we hold there is the amount and the elapsed time rather than the three timestamps 1xBet gave us. The last two are crypto only on Anjouan licences, and neither has a payout we could verify. Every card says which applies rather than describing them all as tested.

Are Ghanaian casino sites safer than international ones?

Generally yes, for one specific reason. A site holding a Gaming Commission of Ghana licence answers to a regulator inside the country that a Ghanaian player can actually contact. International brands on Curacao, Anjouan or no licence at all may still pay reliably, but if a dispute arises there is no local body to escalate to. Check which category a brand is registered in, though, because a sports betting listing does not cover its casino. When two casinos are otherwise close, take the one licensed here for the game you want to play.

Which casinos in Ghana accept Bitcoin?

Three of the six casinos on this page accept Bitcoin alongside Mobile Money in cedis, including our top pick, so you can use either. Two more are crypto only, accepting Bitcoin, USDT and other coins but no cedis at all, which means buying crypto on an exchange before you can play and reversing that chain to spend anything you win. Our second-ranked casino is the opposite case and takes no crypto at any stage, only Mobile Money in cedis. Crypto payouts are independently verifiable on a public blockchain, but crypto-first brands usually hold the weakest licences, so withdraw promptly rather than storing a balance.

Can I deposit and withdraw at casinos with MTN Mobile Money?

Yes. The mobile-money casinos we rank support MTN MoMo, Telecel Cash and AirtelTigo Money, with mobile money deposits starting from as little as GHS 1, and we check that money moves both ways on the same rail before recommending a site. The crypto-only casinos here accept no cedis at any stage.

How fast are casino withdrawals in Ghana?

It depends on the casino, which is exactly why we test it rather than repeating a claim. Mobile Money and crypto are the quickest rails available, but we only publish a time where we recorded one ourselves, and across the six casinos here that is two brands: about ten minutes at one and about seven at the other. See our pick of the fast payout casinos in Ghana for the payouts we have measured.

Can I play Aviator and live casino games?

Yes. Every casino we rank offers crash games alongside slots and live-dealer tables. Aviator is the one most Ghanaian players open first, so if that is the title you want, check it is in the lobby of the specific site before you deposit.

Can I use crypto at Ghana casinos?

Yes. Two of the casinos we rank are crypto-first and accept USDT, Bitcoin, Litecoin and more, with on-chain withdrawals you can verify yourself. Three others accept both crypto and local Mobile Money, and one takes Mobile Money in cedis only.

Are my casino winnings taxed in Ghana?

No. The 10% withholding tax on gambling winnings was repealed in April 2025, so you keep your full winnings on licensed platforms.

How do you choose these casinos?

By testing them ourselves – real accounts, real deposits, and each test taken as far toward a withdrawal as it will go. A casino is listed here only if it displays a gambling licence we could confirm independently, which is why three brands we tested are reviewed on the site but not ranked on this page. Across the six casinos here, two payouts are documented from request to arrival, one request was submitted without our ever seeing what became of it, one was visibly accepted but never captured as a timed payout, and at two more no request has been placed, at one because our balance never met the operator’s withdrawal minimum and at the newest because our testing has not reached that stage. Each casino is then scored on the same seven categories with the weights published on its review, and local payment access counts most. Where a payout could not be completed, we publish that outcome rather than quietly dropping the casino.

Alex Mensah – lead reviewer at BestCasinosAfrica. Casinos on this page are tested hands-on in Ghana on a Samsung Galaxy, using local Mobile Money and crypto, and scored on one published set of weights so the numbers can be compared brand to brand. Licence status is checked against the Gaming Commission of Ghana’s live register rather than copied from another site, and against the issuing regulator’s own register where the licence is offshore, and a casino only appears on this list when it displays a licence we could confirm. Where a payout could not be completed, that is stated on the casino’s card rather than left out, where a game library has not been counted we say so rather than repeating the operator’s own figure, and where we get a detail wrong we correct it and say what changed.
