Those weights are the same on every review we publish, and we print them so you can check our arithmetic rather than take the headline number on trust. Payments for Ghana carries the most weight because a casino you cannot fund with Mobile Money is not a real option for most players here, however good it looks otherwise. Licensing and payout come next, because they decide whether you ever see your money again. This is also why MostBet sits where it does: it wins the heaviest category outright and loses the two that follow it. Why licensing scores only 2.1 when the licence itself is real. This category measures whether you can identify and verify the operator from the site you are being asked to deposit on, not whether a regulator exists somewhere if you know to go looking. MostBet’s Curacao licence is genuine, and we say so plainly below rather than pretending otherwise. But the site shows you no licence number, no regulator seal, no verification link and no company name, so at the moment that matters you have nothing to check. On that test MostBet scores lower than a casino we have tested that holds no gambling licence at all, because that site at least prints its operating company in the footer, which gives you a name to search. A protection you would have to already know about is not one you can act on.

Our hands-on MostBet Ghana review: what actually happened

We do not rate a casino we have not used ourselves, so before scoring MostBet we opened a real account on a mid-range Android phone over a normal mobile data connection, funded it, played, and requested a payout with our own money. Registration. MostBet gives you four ways to sign up: by phone, one-click, by email, or through a social network. Every route ends with the same choice: the sports welcome bonus, the casino welcome package, or an explicit option to reject the bonus entirely. That last option matters more than it looks – most casinos bury bonus refusal, and playing bonus-free means playing wagering-free. We set the country to Ghana and the currency to the cedi (GHS); the whole process took a couple of minutes.

Deposit. We funded the account and the balance credited in cedis – our real 64.43 GHS test balance is visible in the cashier screenshots in the payments section below. Minimums are low: 10 GHS by Airtel Money, 15 GHS by MTN Mobile Money, 20 GHS by Binance Pay, with no commission on Binance Pay or crypto.

Gameplay. We put real money through an Aviator round – a live 0.40 GHS bet from our funded balance, documented in the games section below. Lobbies loaded cleanly and the cashier was reachable in two taps from anywhere.

Withdrawal (the real test). This is where our test hit a wall. When we requested a payout, the site blocked it and demanded additional verification first: identity documents, a confirmed phone number and further personal details. No warning about this appeared at deposit time – the money went in without a single question, but it could not come out without a file of paperwork. Identity verification is standard practice at licensed casinos worldwide and we are not going to pretend otherwise; the problem is springing it at the first withdrawal with zero prior notice, which is a pattern that consistently favours the house. We could not complete a cash-out, so MostBet’s payout speed remains unverified, and every timing claim you read elsewhere is a claim rather than a measurement. It is worth being precise about how that differs from a casino simply having a high withdrawal floor: at Cryptorino our payout also went unmeasured, but only because our balance sat under a published 10 USD minimum, with no verification demanded at all. Customer support. MostBet does have a live chat – we found the widget and tested it. Our first hello sat unanswered; it took three messages and roughly three minutes before an agent named Hania replied, with a greeting welcoming us to the Pakistan support service. A polite human and a livable wait, but also confirmation in one sentence that there is no Ghana-facing support operation behind this site.

Is MostBet legit, legal and safe in Ghana?

This is where MostBet loses the most points, so let us be precise about what we found, because precision matters more here than anywhere else on this page.

MostBet does hold a Curacao licence. It is OGL/2024/597/0249, issued to Bizbon N.V., and it is real: we looked it up on the Curacao regulator’s own public register and it is there. What we could not do is find any trace of it on the Ghana-facing site. The footer carries no licence number, no regulator seal and no verification link. We scrolled every footer section on mobile looking for one. It is not there. No operating company is named either, and no Gaming Commission of Ghana licence is referenced anywhere. So the honest framing is not that MostBet is unlicensed. It is that the licence exists and you cannot see it. Those are different failures, and it is worth stating the difference precisely rather than collapsing them into one accusation.

So is MostBet legit? Yes, on the evidence. It is a real, long-running operator with a genuine offshore licence sitting on a public register. The catch is that you would have to do exactly what we did – work out that the company is Bizbon N.V., work out which regulator to search, and go and look – before you could establish any of that for yourself. On the page where you are being asked to deposit, you are given nothing to check.

What the missing display means in practice. An offshore licence already offers lighter protection than a local Gaming Commission of Ghana licence. A licence you cannot find offers less again – not because the regulator does not exist, but because you do not know it is there. If a payout dispute went badly, you would have a route, the Curacao Gaming Control Board, but only if you first worked out that it was your route. Most players never will, and an operator that wanted you to have that protection would print the number in the footer, as every other licensed brand we have tested does. Ghanaian law targets unlicensed operators rather than the people who play on them, so you are not breaking the law by signing up. But the practical safety net is thinner than at any brand that shows its paperwork, so keep balances small, screenshot your own transactions, and treat the account as a place money passes through, not a place it lives.

Where that places MostBet against the field. “Offshore” is not one flat category, and neither is “you cannot check it”. Cybet and Wild.io both hold Anjouan licences – a weaker instrument than Curacao, with little practical recourse – but they print the numbers and the operating companies openly in their footers. Cryptorino sits at the other end: it names its company and a corporate registration number, but holds no gambling licence at all, so there is no regulator to appeal to under any circumstances. MostBet is a third case: the strongest offshore licence of those four, and the only one you cannot see. There are two separate questions inside “is this site licensed” – how strong the licence is, and whether you can find it – and MostBet wins the first while failing the second completely. We score the second, because it is the one that decides what you can actually do on the day a payout goes wrong, and on that measure MostBet scores 2.1 out of 5.

What to do if your MostBet withdrawal is blocked

This happened to us, so rather than leave it as a complaint we will tell you exactly how to handle it. A blocked first withdrawal at an offshore casino is not usually a refusal. It is a verification request that the site chose not to warn you about at deposit time, and it clears if you work through it methodically.

1. Do not open a second account. This is the mistake that turns a delay into a permanent forfeit. Duplicate accounts breach the terms at almost every operator and give them clean grounds to void the balance.
2. Submit exactly what is asked, in the format asked. A photo ID that matches your registered name, a confirmed phone number, and proof of address if requested. If your account name does not match your ID, fix the account name first through support rather than sending a mismatched document.
3. Verify the payment method is in your own name. A Mobile Money wallet registered to someone else is the most common reason a Ghanaian player’s payout stalls after documents are accepted.
4. Screenshot everything. Every chat, every upload confirmation, every reference number, with the date visible. If this ever escalates, your record is the only evidence you will have, because you cannot request theirs.
5. Give it the stated window, then escalate in writing. Ask support directly, in one message, for the specific outstanding item and the expected timeframe. Vague answers repeated over several days are the signal to stop depositing.
6. Withdraw in full once it clears. Do not leave a balance sitting behind a wall that has already closed on you once.

Welcome bonuses

MostBet lets you choose one welcome offer at registration, sports or casino, and both look identical on the surface: a 125% match plus 250 free spins. The fine print is where the two offers earn very different grades.

Casino welcome package. A 125% match plus 250 free spins, carrying a x60 wagering requirement. To make that concrete: if a deposit earns you a 250 GHS bonus, x60 wagering means turning over 15,000 GHS in bets before the bonus money becomes withdrawable. That is heavy by any standard – the offers we rate highest in Ghana sit far below that – and it converts an attractive headline into a bonus most casual players will never actually clear. Credit where it is due, though, and it is the reason this category does not score lower: the figure is published, so you can do that sum before you opt in rather than after.

Sports first-deposit bonus. Also 125% plus 250 free spins, but with a different problem: we could not find a clearly stated wagering requirement for it at all. A bonus without visible terms is not a better bonus – it is a bonus where you find out the rules after your money is already inside. We flag that as a transparency failure, not a perk.

MostBet is not alone in this, which is the point worth taking away. Cybet, another offshore brand we have tested and link to above, publishes no wagering requirement for its casino welcome offer either – no multiplier, no cap, no expiry. When two unrelated operators both leave out the one number that decides whether a bonus is worth claiming, treat the omission as the norm at this end of the market and check for it every time before you opt in.

Payments: mobile money and crypto

This is the section where MostBet earns its keep, and under our scoring it is the section that counts most. The cashier is built around the rails Ghanaians actually use, and the minimums are low enough to try the site with pocket change.

A 10 GHS Airtel minimum means you can test the site with pocket change, which is exactly how we think a first deposit at any offshore casino should be sized. To be precise about where that sits, since plenty of sites claim to be the cheapest, it is not the lowest we have found: 10 GHS ties MelBet on mobile money, while two brands we have tested start lower still – 1xBet from GHS 1 by card and a few cedis on Mobile Money, and BC.Game from a single cedi on Mobile Money itself. One caution that follows from the withdrawal section above: deposit through a Mobile Money wallet or payment account registered in your own name. A mismatch between your account name and your payment method is the most common reason a verified player still cannot cash out, and it is far easier to get right at deposit than to unwind afterwards.

Speed and performance

Speed matters every time you place a live bet or spin a reel, so we tested it hands-on during our session. On our mid-range Android over mobile data the MostBet mobile site ran smoothly: lobbies loaded cleanly, game tiles rendered without layout jumps, and the cashier was reachable in two taps from anywhere. We have not yet run a Google PageSpeed Insights field test on the tested domain, so we publish no Core Web Vitals figures for MostBet; we will add the real numbers here once we have them, as we have on our other reviews, and we are not going to estimate them in the meantime.

Mobile app and usability

Here MostBet quietly outperforms most of the market. During our July 2026 test the app was available on both the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store – no APK side-loading, no “download from our site” workaround, no trust-this-unknown-developer prompt. In a market where many betting apps live outside official stores, distribution through both is a genuine plus for update security, and it is the one area where MostBet is measurably safer than several better-licensed rivals. The interface is dense, packing sports, casino, crash games and the cashier into one app, so there is a short learning curve, but once you know it, everything is a tap or two away.

MostBet offers support through live chat. In our test an agent replied after three messages and roughly three minutes – a livable wait, and about the same response time we have measured at brands we rate far higher – but the greeting welcomed us to the Pakistan support service, confirming there is no Ghana-facing team behind the widget. That distinction is what the score reflects: the speed was fine, the localisation was not.
